Hey there. Welcome! I'm Candice, I am thrilled that you made it this far and are interested in embarking on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Allow me to share a glimpse into my life. I take immense pride in being a mother to three beautiful children and have dedicated the past 15 years to my own healing journey. Along the way, I have encountered seemingly insurmountable challenges, but with unwavering support, an open mind, and the wisdom gained from both difficult and beautiful experiences, I am here to offer guidance to others navigating life's obstacles.
My specialty focuses on the principles of Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). These approaches allow me to help individuals and couples navigate complex emotional dynamics.
Attachment Theory suggests that the quality of early bonds to our caregivers can significantly impact an individual's ability to form and maintain relationships later in life. By exploring early attachment experiences, we can better understand how these experiences influence emotional regulation, social interactions, and overall well-being in adulthood.
Emotionally Focused Therapy helps individuals explore their emotional connections to themselves and others, leading to a better understanding of their emotions to help heal relationships, improve communication, and strengthen emotional bonds in adult relationships.
While my approach is based on Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I also integrate elements from other therapeutic modalities to provide a tailored approach for each individual, ensuring you feel safe, understood, and valued as you embark on your journey toward healing.

Hi there! My name is Alissa and I am thrilled to join you on your healing journey. Every one of us has a story that is unique to us - shaping who we are and how we see the world. There is nothing easy about the path we choose to travel and as social creatures, not all roads are meant to be travelled alone. I am here to help you on that journey.
My professional career spans more than a decade in health care, equipping me with a unique and diverse set of skills to help clients reach their goals of care and optimize personal well-being. My practice focuses on trust, mutual respect, and relatability. While therapy is clinical, I believe it should not feel cold or sterile and I welcome you to embrace the discomfort of vulnerability in a safe space free of critical gaze. As an expert of your own lived experience, I help you explore strategies and develop tools to work through your challenges whether through structured modalities (i.e. CBT, DBT), traditional talk therapy, or a combination of approaches.
Of course, my professional ventures are only a fraction of what defines me. I was born and raised in Pelham and I am thrilled to continue supporting the community I call home. I am happily married to my husband and together we share two children and our Bernese Mountain dog whom we affectionately refer to as Bruce the Moose. If I’m not balancing work with family life, I’m likely working on a new hobby or immersed in my studies as a MSW student at the University of Waterloo.
Looking back, I am reminded just how much my own journey has weaved in and out in ways I never expected. I certainly never dreamed of being where I am today, nor was it a predictable or painless journey. But let that serve as a reminder of the realm of possibilities available to you. I believe change is possible and I hope that through our work together you too will feel inspired to grow.

Hello and Welcome! My name is Dannika. I believe that everyone is capable of change with the right tools and support, and I am excited to be with you on your therapy journey.
My own childhood experiences led me on a pathway of healing and growth as an adult and, ultimately, toward becoming a therapist. With both my personal and professional experiences, I’d like to support you on your healing journey.
My professional path has taken me into several different roles over the past fifteen years and clinically as a therapist over the past ten years, supporting couples, parents, youth, and adult individuals along the way. After a brief hiatus, Niagara has called me back to my roots as someone born and raised in this area, and I am proud to call it home once again.
While I received my professional degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child and Youth Studies and Sociology at Brock University, A Bachelor of Social Work Degree at Lakehead University and my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Toronto with a focus on health and mental health, I also lean on my additional training in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (Skills Focused) and more. I wholeheartedly believe that we are all complex and unique beings. Therefore, I practice as an eclectic therapist, meaning that I draw from different modalities to support you in the best possible way I can.
While I enjoy working with various people, I especially enjoy working with couples, families, parents and youth 12+ for multiple concerns. Some of my focuses include relational challenges, communication challenges, anxiety, ADHD, self-image, self-esteem and family of origin concerns.
Ultimately, I firmly believe that at the heart of therapy is connection: your connection to your therapist and a focus on improving connections in your life, whether with yourself, your significant other, your child, your family or other important people in your life.
On that note, I’d like to share a bit about myself for you to connect with me. I am a wife, a mama to two fur babies, a sister, a friend, an auntie to several nieces and nephews and a godmother to two children. You can often find me cooking and sharing social time with others, exploring and embracing nature and the outdoors, weightlifting in the gym, practicing yoga and enjoying concerts in my spare time.
If you have connected to what I have shared and are interested in learning more about me and working with me, let’s chat!
