I am Carolyn and I offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space for individuals, youth, and families to feel safe, supported, and heard. I help with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I also support youth with school stress, identity, and confidence, and families navigating blended dynamics, co-parenting, divorce, caregiving, and conflict—working together to find new ways to heal, grow, and connect.
Supporting your Journey to Healing, Connection and Emotional Well-being.
Hi there, and welcome! I’m Candice, and I’m so glad you’re here. If you’ve made it this far, you’re likely seeking meaningful change, deeper self-understanding, or support through life’s challenges—and I want you to know you’re in the right place.
As a trauma-informed counsellor and proud mother of three, I bring not only professional experience but also deep personal insight to my work. Over the past 15 years, I’ve walked my own path of healing—navigating grief, growth, and self-discovery—which allows me to offer authentic, compassionate support to others on similar journeys.
I specialize in Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)—all evidence-based approaches that support individuals and couples in understanding their emotional world and building stronger, healthier relationships.
Grounded in Attachment Theory, this approach explores how our earliest relationships with caregivers shape the way we connect with others as adults. By understanding these patterns, clients gain insight into their emotional responses, self-worth, and relationship dynamics, helping them build more secure and fulfilling connections.
EFT is designed to help individuals and couples reconnect with their emotions and deepen their emotional bonds. This approach is especially effective for those navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, or emotional disconnect. EFT supports better communication, reduces conflict, and fosters healing in meaningful relationships.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and transforming unhelpful thought patterns. CBT is highly effective in treating anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem issues. At Reflect Reset Renew Therapy Services, I tailor CBT to your unique goals, helping you build practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and foster long-term resilience.
Every person’s journey is unique—and your therapy should reflect that. I use an integrative counselling approach to ensure your experience is:
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, past trauma, relationship struggles, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to guide you with compassion and practical tools for meaningful transformation.
Healing is possible—and you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to provide a nurturing, confidential space for growth, clarity, and connection.

Outside the therapy room, I’m a wife, a sister, a godmother, and a proud dog mama. I enjoy cooking, weightlifting, practicing yoga, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with loved ones. These pieces of my life keep me grounded, and I hope they help you feel connected to me, too.

Life Transitions
Welcome — I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
Reaching out for support is a courageous first step. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or longing to reconnect with parts of yourself that feel distant or lost. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions — healing is possible, and you don’t have to go through it alone.
As a trauma-informed therapist working with individuals and couples, I offer a grounded and compassionate approach that places your needs and experiences at the center of our work. I recognize that healing is not a straight path — it is layered, deeply personal, and profoundly human. Together, we will create a safe, supportive space where curiosity, care, and connection guide the process of growth and change
I work from an eclectic, integrative lens, drawing on a variety of evidence-based modalities to support your unique journey. My practice is often guided by:
I also support individuals in improving communication, understanding emotional triggers, and learning how early life experiences shape adult relationships — with a focus on building connection and emotional safety.
Outside of the therapy room, I value laughter, meaningful connection, and continual growth. I believe healing begins with a willingness to be curious — especially about the uncomfortable or confusing parts of our story. I know how vulnerable it can be to reach out, and I honour that vulnerability with deep respect and care.
If you’re looking for a therapist in Welland—or anywhere in Ontario through online therapy—I would be honoured to support you. At Reflect Reset Renew Therapy Services, we walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges, whether that’s trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, or relationship struggles.

Welcome — I’m so glad that you made it
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Since beginning my practice in 2022, I have combined professional experience with my own lived journey to provide meaningful and effective care.
My approach is flexible and personalized, allowing me to adapt therapy to your unique needs so each session feels supportive, approachable, and effective.
I offer a relational, collaborative, and authentic support. I believe therapy should feel approachable—not intimidating. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in healing, which is why I emphasize trust, connection, and genuine care.
In our work together, I strive to create a space where you feel:
I bring warmth, empathy, and my real self into every session, so therapy feels human, not clinical.
My path to becoming a therapist is deeply rooted in my own story. I’ve personally struggled with anxiety and know how overwhelming it can feel. Because of this, I connect with clients on a deeper level and offer genuine empathy.
During my undergraduate studies, I chose courses focused on psychology and mental health, knowing I wanted to dedicate my career to supporting others. My lived experiences, paired with professional knowledge, give me both the passion and purpose to help clients navigate their own challenges.
I provide therapy for individuals ages 16 and older, with a focus on:
These struggles often affect daily life in powerful ways. I am passionate about helping clients develop a healthier and more compassionate relationship with themselves so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Outside of my practice, I love spending time with my dog, Theo, who brings endless joy to my life. I also enjoy being with my sister and friends, reading everything from psychological thrillers to romance novels, and keeping up with reality TV.
I was born and raised in Niagara, and I feel grateful to live and work in a community that has shaped so much of who I am.
My hope is that you leave each session feeling:
If you’re looking for a safe, compassionate space to begin your healing, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.

Welcome — I am happy that you are here
I believe that therapy is about more than techniques or strategies — it’s about being truly seen, heard, and understood. For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, families, and youth, supporting them through life’s challenges and celebrating their strengths..
My approach is compassionate, client-centred, and trauma-informed. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, but what matters most is building a strong connection with each person I support.
My style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I strive to create a safe space where clients can slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and those around them. I see you as the expert in your own life which means that my role is to listen deeply, offer perspective, and gently guide the process of healing and growth.
What matters most to me is building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and acceptance. I meet clients where they are, honouring their stories, cultures, and identities, while working together toward resilience, hope, and meaningful change.
Individuals – navigating life transitions, building resilience, and working through challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, or recovery from abusive/narcissistic relationships.
Youth – coping with school stress, identity and peer challenges, anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief, separation anxiety, sleep issues, and major life transitions.
Families – supporting blended families, co-parenting, complex divorces, children’s behaviours related to family changes, balancing family demands, caring for aging parents, and addressing long-standing conflict.
These struggles often affect daily life in powerful ways. I am passionate about helping clients develop a healthier and more compassionate relationship with themselves so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.
If you’re looking for a safe, compassionate space to begin your healing, I would be honoured to walk alongside you.
